Regarding the potential recession we'll go into. What it comes down to is drive and determination. You set goals and do whatever you need to do to get there. Even if an industry is shrinking or struggling if you want it enough you will rise above others and succeed.
It's down to you as an individual. Recession talk is nonsense. I made more money in the last recession than the last two years simply because I wanted it more and made sacrifices to grow my business and trade. Recessions will always come around while the world runs on broken monetary and economic systems. I have no worries going forward about my own business, and predict that I will do better in the next couple of years and be able to provide a happier, better quality of life for my family.
Everyone seems to be praising the amount of people who turned out to vote but I think the number should of been way higher. I hated how both sides campaigns were full of scare mongering, skewing statistics and full of misinformation. Or how both sides painted a horrible picture of the others sides demographic. It's shameful and sad to see.
I voted leave, but the result doesn't feel as satisfying as it should due to these reasons. While a lot of people have been hostile, abusive and rude in debates and discussions I respect the passion shown about this referendum from the majority of both sides and wish British people took the whole spectrum of politics right down to a local level this seriously. I know I will in the future.
From speaking to people and reading online I can see why the "losing" side are so emotional about the result, but some of the farfetched nonsense a minority are spewing is laughable and playing into that emotion which does not help in what's going to be a volatile time.
I could see positives and negatives from both sides, tried my best to inform myself and never seriously tried to influence the vote of someone else. There are huge potential risks and implications for this country going forward, change is always a dangerous game. I hope I don't regret my vote in the future, because I feel like I done the right thing for myself, my family, the people I care about and my country.
